Plastic Bins

SULO offers bin systems made of steel and of plastic. Plastic bins are primarily injection moulded from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). SULO bins are corrosion-resistant and significantly lighter than bins made from galvanised steel.

The excellent level of chemical resistance of HDPE makes this group of materials universally suitable. In addition to a resistance to acids, bases, alcohols and oils, HDPE is also resistant to petrol. This is not only important for collecting waste in the bin but also for contact with fuels, for example in the street.

The properties of plastic are extremely easy to modify. The different types can therefore easily be combined. With the help of additives, certain properties can be added or emphasized. Each bin is equipped with special UV stabilisers in order to protect it from the sunlight.
